Frequently Asked Questions
What is the layout of Oceanside Manor?
Oceanside Manor is a spacious 4-level beach home that can be enjoyed as one large vacation rental or as two distinct living areas: High Tide and Low Tide. High Tide includes the upper three floors of the home and features 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, the main kitchen, main living areas, decks, ocean views, sound views, and gathering spaces. Low Tide is the private lower-level apartment-style suite. It includes 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, its own living room, full kitchen, dining area, and separate exterior access. Together, the full property offers 8 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, making it a great option for extended families, multi-generational groups, wedding guests, golf groups, friend trips, or families traveling together who want both shared space and privacy.
Are High Tide and Low Tide connected from the inside the house?

Is Oceanside Manor good for off-season stays?
Absolutely! Oceanside Manor is a wonderful destination year-round, offering a relaxing coastal escape long after the summer crowds have gone home. With breathtaking ocean and sound views, private beach access, a hot tub, spacious living areas, multiple decks, and plenty of indoor entertainment like board games, the home is perfectly suited for every season. It's an ideal choice for long weekends, couples' getaways, golf trips, holiday celebrations, remote-work beach weeks, family reunions, quiet retreats, and special occasions such as engagements, anniversaries, and milestone celebrations. Even the simple moments—enjoying a peaceful walk on the beach, sipping coffee while watching the sunrise from the deck, or capturing a stunning sunset from the upper rear deck—become unforgettable experiences.
What makes Oceanside Manor different from other beach rentals?
Oceanside Manor offers a unique combination of amenities that is difficult to find in a single vacation rental. With eight bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, and plenty of space for large groups, it's designed to comfortably accommodate family vacations, reunions, and group getaways. Guests enjoy private beach access to a quiet stretch of shoreline with no nearby public access points, along with beautiful ocean views, sound views, breathtaking Atlantic sunrises, and spectacular sunsets from the upper rear deck. On calm days, it's even possible to spot dolphins from the property. Additional highlights include a gazebo-style deck near the beach, multiple outdoor decks, a private hot tub, and a dog-friendly policy. The home also features two fully equipped kitchens and two distinct living spaces—High Tide and the separate apartment-style Low Tide suite—making it an excellent choice for multi-family vacations and multi-generational gatherings. One of Oceanside Manor's most appreciated features is the flexibility it offers, allowing everyone to spend time together while still enjoying the privacy and comfort of their own quiet retreat within the same property.
Who is Oceanside Manor best suited for?
Oceanside Manor is ideal for guests looking for a spacious beach retreat with plenty of room to relax and enjoy a quieter, more laid-back coastal experience. It's especially well suited for large families, multi-generational gatherings, two-family vacations, groups of friends, golf outings, wedding guests, and travelers bringing their dogs along. Guests who appreciate private beach access, separate living areas, stunning ocean views, peaceful sunrise mornings, breathtaking sunset photo opportunities, and a less crowded beach setting will feel right at home. While the property offers exceptional flexibility and space, it may not be the best choice for guests who require an elevator, prefer a single-level layout, or want every bedroom connected by interior hallways.
What should guests understand before booking?
We want every guest to arrive with the right expectations so they can fully enjoy everything Oceanside Manor has to offer. Before booking, please note that the home spans four levels and does not have an elevator, so guests should be comfortable using stairs throughout the property. The Low Tide suite is a separate lower-level apartment with its own private living space and is not connected internally to the High Tide portion of the home. Its primary lockable entrance is accessed through the mudroom/shower area and then through one of the bedrooms, although convenient sliding-door access is also available from both the dining area and living room. Parking is available inside the garage and directly in front of it, comfortably accommodating four vehicles and, depending on vehicle size, up to six with careful parking. To ensure easy access for everyone, vehicles may not block the shared driveway, sidewalk, neighboring properties, or the shared driveway located on the right side of the home. We also provide a selection of starter supplies to help you settle in, but guests should plan to bring or purchase any additional essentials needed for the duration of their stay. For those comfortable with these details, Oceanside Manor offers a spacious, flexible, and unforgettable beach getaway complete with private beach access, stunning ocean and sound views, peaceful surroundings, and plenty of room for everyone to relax and reconnect.
Low Tide Questions
What should we know about the Low Tide entrance?
Low Tide has a unique but flexible entry layout. The main lockable entrance to Low Tide is through a mudroom/shower-style area and then through one of the bedrooms before reaching the main living area, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and other bedrooms. However, Low Tide also has two convenient sliding-door access points: one off the dining area and one off the living room. Many guests use these sliding doors during their stay when they are coming and going from the beach, outdoor areas, or shared spaces and do not need to fully lock up the unit each time. We want guests to understand the layout before arrival so there are no surprises. The benefit is that Low Tide functions like its own private apartment, with a full kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom, sleeping space, and multiple ways to access the space during your stay.
Why is the separate Low Tide apartment a benefit?
The Low Tide apartment is ideal when your group wants to be together, but not on top of each other. It gives guests: A second full kitchen A second living room A separate dining area A quieter sleeping area away from the main upper floors More privacy for extended family, grandparents, in-laws, teens, adult children, or a second family A convenient setup for groups with different sleep schedules For many groups, this “together but separate” layout is one of the best features of Oceanside Manor.
